A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a crash in the Scottish Highlands.

Police were called to the scene on the A832 near Kinlochewe at around 3.15pm on Saturday.

The 43-year-old was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries after police say the bike appeared to lose control and slid onto the verge.

Police have urged any witnesses to come forward, particularly those with dash-cam footage.

Those who can help are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting the incident number 2195 of Saturday July 13.
