One person has been airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the A90 in Kincardineshire.
Another person was taken to hospital by road following the collision, which happened near Laurencekirk at 10.20am on Wednesday.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said they said they dispatched multiple vehicles to the scene.
“We received a call at 10.22 to attend a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A90 near Laurencekirk,” they said.
The A90 near Laurencekirk is closed in both directions following a two vehicle crash at 10.20am on Wednesday, 12 February, 2025.
The road is closed between Laurencekirk and North Water Bridge.

“We dispatched two ambulances, three special operations response teams, a trauma team, and one air ambulance to the scene.
“One patient was transported to Ninewells Hospital by road and one patient was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by air ambulance.”
The road is currently closed in both directions between Laurencekirk and North Water Bridge.
Police said local diversions are in place, and that and motorists should avoid the area if possible.
