Daniel Creaney scores twice but Tamworth are held to draw at Aldershot

Daniel Creaney scored a brace as Tamworth were pegged back twice against Aldershot in their 2-2 draw in the Vanarama National League.

Following a goalless first half, the striker opened the scoring four minutes after the restart when he glanced home from Tommy Tonks’ long throw.

Aldershot were level in the 53rd minute when Luca Woodhouse flicked on a free header in the Tamworth box, which fell to Jack Barham to stab home.

Creaney put the Lambs back in front in the 69th minute when Beck-Ray Enoru beat his man and found the striker, who adjusted well to convert from close range for his 10th league goal of the season.

However, the hosts salvaged a point 10 minutes from time as Woodhouse nodded home at the near post from a corner.
