Fred Onyedinma scored twice as Wycombe extended their unbeaten League One run to five games with a 4-1 win over Leyton Orient at Adams Park.
Dan Casey and Sam Bell were also on target for the Chairboys after Aaron Connolly’s penalty had pulled Orient level.
In what was their fourth game in a row at home in all competitions, Wycombe were quickly off the mark.
A long ball from Luke Leahy found Onyedinma, who beat the offside trap before firing in from close range for his 50th career goal after four minutes.
Orient equalised seven minutes later when goalkeeper Will Norris brought down Dom Ballard in the penalty area and Connolly converted from 12 yards.
However, Wanderers then took control as Onyedinma got his second with a low strike after 16 minutes before Casey’s first goal for Wycombe on the half-hour mark made it three.
Richie Wellens’ side were also fortunate not to be reduced to 10 men when goalkeeper Killian Cahill wiped out Onyedinma in a one-on-one situation, with the Nigerian looking for his hat-trick.
Wycombe wrapped up the three points with 15 minutes remaining, Bell firing home his fourth goal of the season from six yards after Donnell McNeilly’s shot was parried by Cahill.
