Rosaire Longelo and Matt Butcher scored as Salford got back on track with a 2-0 win at home to Barnet in League Two.
Promotion-chasing Salford had taken just three points from the previous six league games but were rarely troubled by the below-par Bees.
A lacklustre first half finally sparked into life late on when the Ammies struck twice in the last six minutes.
Longelo scored the opener in the 39th minute, capitalising on some slack defending as Jorge Grant’s cross came in as the winger snuck in to net his first goal for the club.
Salford soon doubled their lead when Ryan Graydon lofted a cross into the box and Cole Stockton neatly set up Butcher to smash home the second.
The visitors could not cause Salford any problems going forward, with a tame shot by Nnamdi Ofoborh about the best they could muster.
Graydon came close to a third after the break but Cieran Slicker reacted well to save his glancing header from Grant’s corner.
Salford’s Prince Ehibhatiomhan then saw a goalbound effort deflected wide as the hosts strolled to a first home win in four games.
