MK Dons stretch unbeaten league run to 11 as Harrogate stay bottom

MK Dons made it 11 League Two games unbeaten after coming from behind to beat Harrogate 4-1 at Stadium MK.

Tobias Brenan had put Harrogate in front, but goals from Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, Luke Offord, Aaron Collins and Ben Wiles saw the hosts take the points.

Victory lifted the Dons into second in a congested table where just two points split the teams between second and fifth, while Harrogate remain bottom after a first defeat in six outings.

The Sulphurites took the lead in the 25th minute when Brenan scored the rebound after goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray had parried Jack Evans’ deflected initial strike.

But MK Dons equalised four minutes later, with Hepburn-Murphy finishing at the second attempt having been denied by keeper Henry Gray.

MK Dons took the lead in first-half stoppage time as Offord glanced in Dan Crowley’s corner.

Collins extended the Dons’ advantage after 51 minutes, cutting inside before curling home, and the hosts made it four in the 63rd minute when Wiles headed in Liam Kelly’s cross.
