Esapa Osong scored in added time to give Fleetwood the bragging rights in the Lancashire derby with a 2-1 win over Accrington.
Fleetwood opened the scoring on 12 minutes when a cross from Ethan Ennis was headed home by Mark Helm for his 10th League Two goal of the campaign.
The Cod Army hunted for the second with Elliot Bonds firing at Ollie Wright and the Southampton loan keeper palmed away an Ennis effort.
Winger Ennis hit the woodwork on 37 minutes, while the first save for Fleetwood keeper Jay Lynch came after 38 minutes as he pushed out Connor O’Brien’s strike.
Stanley manager John Doolan brought on Josh Woods at half-time and, on 51 minutes, the forward got on the end of Shaun Whalley’s corner to head home the equaliser.
Fleetwood came back and it needed a superb save from Wright to keep out Rhys Bennett’s header.
Whalley’s shot was just wide 11 minutes from time before a Ched Evans cross was fired home from close range by substitute Osong in the first minute of added time.
