Dan Kemp scored the only goal of the game as Stevenage secured a smash and grab 1-0 League One victory over play-off rivals Bradford.
The Bantams dominated the first half but were denied a third-straight win by Kemp’s fifth goal of the season.
Stephen Humphrys fashioned the first real chance of the game when he fired over the crossbar, while George Lapslie went close for the hosts when he flicked his effort wide of the mark.
Antoni Sarcevic was the next Bradford player to squander a chance when he nodded wide just before half-time.
After the break, Humphrys tried his luck from range and watched on as his strike flew wide.
Kemp fired the Boro in front against the run of play just after the hour as Charlie Goode’s throw eventually found the forward.
Stevenage goalkeeper Filip Marschall kept out Nick Powell’s free-kick.
Kayden Jackson saw his strike saved inside the last 10 minutes before Marschall pulled off a big save to keep out Powell.
He then ensured the points in stoppage-time when he kept out Sarcevic’s header.
