Two Tipperary MIC students given prestigious 'Leadership' awards by Munster Council
Tipperary's Darragh Spillane and Katie Lonergan were recently awarded a Certificate by Munster GAA for their completion of the Gaelic Games Leadership programme at Mary Immaculate College.
The fourth-year MIC students were presented with their certificate by Munster GAA Chairperson, Ger Ryan. As part of the initiative, 15 final-year MIC students organised a Gaelic Games Blitz for Limerick primary schools on the MIC campus. 
The students were awarded their certificates at a special event held to mark the launch of the MIC Gaelic Games Club by GAA President Jarlath Burns.
