PICTURES: See the fashion as Tipperary community comes out in style to raise funds for a worthy cause

Everybody dressed out in style for the Cahir Community Hall fundraiser

The Fashion Show held on last Thursday in  CahirHouse Hotel was another of the several fundraisers organised to date towards the refurbishment of Cahir Community Hall. It was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

The committee would like to thank everyone for their help including the Cahir House Hotel management and staff, in particular Collette, David and Maurice, Paul Kelly and John Ryan for the sound system and music, Martin Halpin for the screens and Martin O’Donovan, and for manning the spotlights assisted by the TY students.Thanks also to the MC’s Andy Moloney and Ailish Manton, the South Tipp Hospice Shop, Klassy Lady and Mr Mister for their beautiful clothes, Brenda Burke for runway tuition, and of course all the models, tall and small, who were absolutely brilliant on the night.

John Quirke for the Tipperary Watch door prize, the many sponsored prizes we received, Colaiste Dun Isacaigh TY Students Daithi, Aziz and Andy for their help with the raffle, Nicolina for her display of scented wax flowers, Sunshine Balloons for their beautiful display, and Nellie Williams and all the CDA staff for printing the posters and tickets, designed by James. A ‘Twist of Fun’ at the end of the night was brilliant and kindly performed by Martina and Teresa.
