Love Island star Montana Brown welcomes second child early: We’re over the moon

Reality TV star Montana Brown has welcomed her second child early after going through “a bit of a rollercoaster”.

The former Love Island contestant, 29, announced she had given birth by sharing a photo of her cradling the newborn to her Instagram Story.

“Look who decided to show up early. Bigger than expected and a bit of a rollercoaster,” she wrote on the post.

“We’re over the moon and taking it all in but just glad she’s healthy and happy.”

The reality star, who announced she was expecting again last July, did not provide further details on what caused the birth to be a “rollercoaster”.

She revealed the pregnancy news on Instagram in the summer with a video which showed her cradling her baby bump while she looked out onto a scenic view, writing: “Two under two let’s go.”

The new addition to her family comes after she welcomed her first son Jude in June 2023 with fiance Mark O’Connor.

Following her first pregnancy, she revealed she struggled to conceive her first child despite being in her twenties.

She told Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast that she thought she would find it easy to fall pregnant when she first started trying with her partner.

Last February, Brown spoke candidly about the reality of motherhood in a post on Instagram, describing how she felt “one comment away from having a meltdown” before adding that it is a “humbling experience”.

Brown appeared on the third series of Love Island and was dumped from the island just before the final.

After appearing on the hit ITV dating show, she took part in other reality TV shows including Celebrity Mastermind, Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls and CelebAbility.
