Planning go-ahead given for major development at Waterford GAA grounds

Funding for walking tracks at two GAA grounds in Kilkenny

Clashmore / Kinsalebeg GAA has been given the green light for the the construction of a juvenile playing field, all weather field and a number of additions to their grounds at Glashmore. 

Waterford City and Co Council also granted planning permission for ball skills training wall, walking track with associated lighting, 12 number 15m high floodlights (350 lux), parking area, associated entrance and ancillary site works at Clashmore / Kinsalebeg GAA Club, Ballyheeny, Clashmore, Co. Waterford

Amongst a number of conditions imposed with the grant of planning permission was the hours of use of the floodlights shall be confined to 9am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 7pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
