IRELAND WEATHER: Largely dry and sunny today with temperatures dropping in the evening

Sunny spells developing for a largely dry morning with just the odd shower moving in from the east. Cloud will bubble up during the day bringing well scattered showers in the afternoon, becoming more isolated towards the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, coolest in the east and mildest in the west, in light to moderate east to southeast breezes.

Tonight will be dry and chilly with just a few lingering showers slowly dying out. Lowest temperatures will range between 0 to 5 degrees with some grass frost forming under long clear spells. Light easterly or variable breezes will allow some mist and hill fog to develop in places.
