A 55-year-old man has been charged with attempting to prevent a lawful burial.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court on Monday, July 22.
The charge is in relation to the death of a man in Derry. The deceased man, who was in his 80s, was discovered at a house on Culmore Road on Wednesday, July 17.
The deceased man was named locally as retired orthodontist, Noel O'Sullivan.
"As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service," a police spokesperson said.
