Alliance leader Naomi Long to visit Derry on Friday ahead of party's first ever conference in the north west

The Alliance Leader Naomi Long MLA will be in Derry this Friday, November 3, meeting with a range of community groups and key business leaders, ahead of the Alliance Party’s first ever North West Conference. Throughout the course of the day, Naomi will pay a visit to Groarty Primary School, Airporter, Ignite, Women’s Aid and Jim Roddy from City Centre Initiative. Naomi Long MLA (pictured above) said: “When I became leader just over a year ago I outlined my vision for Alliance and my commitment to grow our Party. I’m delighted to be in Derry-Londonderry this weekend showcasing how politics based on sharing and integration can work for all. “Almost 20 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, we find ourselves sin the midst of an uncertain future and while other parties remain focused on promoting division, Alliance remains focused on delivering leadership that will change Northern Ireland for good. “With a number of challenges facing Northern Ireland, the Alliance Party’s commitment to building a genuinely shared and inclusive future is as strong as at any time in our history. And as needed.”
