Anger in Derry after Minister reveals no money for City of Cultue legacy projects

Culture, Arts and Leisure Caral Ni Chuilin has been accused of failing to deliver on promises of a lasting legacy for Derry following the 2012 City of Culture year.
SDLP Foyle MLA Colum Eastwood hit out after Ms Ni Chuilin (pictured above) revealed there was no money available to deliver City of Culture legacy projects from the end of this month.
She was responding to an Assembly question from Mr Eastwood.
He said the MInister made many promises in 2013 as City of Culture came to an end but she had mow admitted she had "no baseline budget" to continue provision of additional funding in the North West after 31 March.
Mr Eastwood described the situation as "unacceptable."
