To whom it may concern,

Hope you're well. I'm Jack Gallagher, writer and director at newly-formed production company Fish Mail, made up of writers from Derry and Strabane.

The production company has a comedy play titled 'The Sean and Gerry Breakfast Show' premiering this Friday (6th August) as part of the 2021 Edinburgh Fringe Festival's online offering, and will be available to watch online throughout the whole festival (6-30th August).

The play was written by myself (a 27-year-old from Derry) and two young Derrymen (Fintan Morrison and Niall McCarthy), filmed and produced with help from Jim Curran and Vinny O'Callaghan from the Ulster University, and stars local actor Paul O'Doherty and Dundonald actor Drew Boone.

It is inspired by local Derry radio, with the characters being named after Sean Coyle and Gerry Anderson as an ode to their show on BBC Radio Foyle, and was written specifically with a Derry and Northern Irish audience in mind.

I was wondering if the show's debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (one of the biggest comedy festivals in the world) would be of interest to the Derry Now for a story? If so, myself and all other members of the company would be delighted to provide more info.

Here's the link to the show's listing on the Ed Fringe website (it will be free to air): https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/sean-and-gerry-breakfast-show

Here's a short clip of the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8CM5NZSFjc&ab_channel=NiallMcCarthy

And I've also attached the poster, and our press release.

Thanks,
