A number of buildings have been damaged and trees brought down as Storm Henry continues to batter Derry.

A Met Office yellow warning for severe gales is to remain in force into tomorrow with winds gusting up to 70mph.

Dunelm Mill on Buncrana Road is one of the buildings damaged.

The store (pictured) remains sealed off tonight after a section of the shop front was ripped from its stanchions.

The old Letterkenny Road was closed for a period due to a fallen tree near the village of Killea.

The road was also closed for several hours on Friday last as a result of a tree being brought down by Storm Gertrude.

Storm Henry also brought down trees in the Lisnagelvin area in the Waterside and the walkway along the River Foyle running parallel with the old Letterkenny Road, known locally as “The Line."
