Case against Derry man, who is denying two counts of rape, to be reviewed

The case against a Derry man who is denying two counts of rape will be reviewed at the end of June.
Paul Francis O'Doherty (37) of Governor Road in Derry appeared at the local Crown Court.
He was charged with two counts of rape on October 31, 2022, one count of sexual assault by touching on the same woman and on the same date and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
When the charges were put to him O'Doherty he pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The court heard that it was expected that it would be a four day trial.
The case was adjourned until June 28 to review progress and the defendant was released on continuing bail.
