City Cemetery in Derry closed this morning because of the icy conditions
Staff salting paths and roads to get the graveyard open again as soon as possible
The City Cemetery in Derry will be closed this morning because of the icy conditions.
A spokesperson for Derry City and Strabane District Council, which manages the cemetery, said the closure was necessary to allow the paths and roads to be salted.
The spokesperson said burials would operate as normal.
The council said they will provide a further update once the cemetery is safe to open.
