The electricity supplier partners with Health for Life to distribute outfits ahead of the landmark 40th anniversary festival.

Derry-based Click Energy is helping local children celebrate the 40th anniversary of Derry Halloween by donating 50 costumes to families in the community.

As Europe’s biggest Halloween festival prepares to get underway, the electricity supplier has partnered with community organisation Health for Life, which will help to distribute the costumes among the families it supports.

Health for Life works to improve health and wellbeing across Derry through community-based services, programmes and support, playing an important role in helping local families and strengthening community connections.

Andy Porter, Managing Director at Click Energy, said: “The city’s Halloween festival is world-renowned, and we want to help more local families share in the excitement. Health for Life does incredible work supporting families in the community, and this is a special opportunity to partner with them and bring some of the magic of Halloween to local children.

“At Click Energy, the communities we serve are at the heart of our business, and we’re always looking for ways to make a positive difference. Donating these costumes is a small way of doing that, and we hope the children who receive them enjoy this year’s celebrations.”

Natasha Burke, Family First Hub Co-ordinator, said:

“We are delighted with the generous donation of Halloween costumes from Click Energy to the Family Support Hub at Health for Life. We want to say a massive thank you in helping us make a difference to families by bringing joy, imagination and smiles to children's faces this Halloween.”
