County Tyrone man returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on burglary charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a number of burglary charges following a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrates' Court.

Matthew Grant (22) of Molesworth Street in Cookstown in Co. Tyrone was charged with, on June 27, 2022, burglary, attempted burglary and taking a car without permission and subsequently damaging it.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Grant chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on May 8.
