Daniel O'Donnell isn't exactly splashing the cash while renovating his Donegal home, it has been revealed.

'Room to Improve' architect Dermot Bannon, who is overseeing the renovations, said that our wee Daniel is 'not exactly flaithiúlach'.

"They had a decent budget, but not a whopper one," Bannon said, speaking to Independent.ie. "He's not exactly what you would call flaithiúlach.

"It's not an ostentatious project or a bling-y project. It's about creating a home and retreat."

The renovation of Daniel's Donegal home on 'Room to Improve' is set to be one of the highlights of RTÉ's autumn schedule.

Daniel and Majella will be appearing on the but they are picking up the €200,000 tab, not RTÉ.
