Department for Economy set to reveal individual RHI beneficiaries over £5k 'as soon as possible'

The Department for the Economy has said that they will publish a list of individual Renewable Heat Incentive beneficiaries who have received over £5000 'as soon as possible'.

They published a list of companies benefitting from the scheme earlier this month.

Several Derry companies were named on the list.

There is no suggestion that any of the companies or individuals that took part in the scheme have engaged in wrongful activity. The Stormont government encouraged local companies to sign up at the time the scheme was launched.

A Department for the Economy spokesperson said: "The Department is also currently working on a separate list which will contain the names of the individuals who are in receipt of payments of £5,000 or more under the non-domestic scheme and this will be published as soon as possible. "
