The following deaths have occurred:-
Joseph Dominic Flanagan, Nursery Avenue, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Joseph Dominic Flanagan, 11th May 2023, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, late of Nursery Avenue, Coleraine, dearly loved husband of Anne, much loved father of Tracy, Geraldine and Joanne, loving father-in-law of Nigel, Tim and Phil, very special grandad to Emma and Paul, Danielle and Raymond and Anna and brother of Kevin, Willie, Frank, Brendan, Bernard, Vincent, Rose, Margaret and the late Anthony. Requiem mass in St. Malachy’s Church on Saturday at 11.00am followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Glenullin, Garvagh (arriving approx. 12.45pm). Viewing for friends and family at Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine on Friday between 1.00pm and 5.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for N.H.S.C.T. Herbie Fulton, 69 Aughrim Road, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of Herbie Fulton, called home 11th May 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, (in his 96th year), dearly beloved husband of the late Doreen, 69 Aughrim Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted father of Mervyn, Gladys and the late Anna, dear father-in-law of Florence, Ian and Trevor, loving grandfather of Lynn, Ian, Glenda, Annette, Diane, Claire, Melvin, Alice and David, also a cherished great-grandfather and dearest brother of Henry and the late Beth, David, Eileen, Jack and Raymond. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Saturday evening (May 13th) from 7.00pm – 8.30pm. A service of thanksgiving for Herbie’s life will be held in Castledawson Presbyterian Church on Sunday (May 14th) at 3.00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Lorraine Keys, 3 Gleneen Park, Derry
The death has occurred of Lorraine Keys, 11th May 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin hospital, beloved wife of Colin, loving mother of Emma and the late Ryan. Funeral service in her home, 3 Gleneen Park at 1.30pm on Sunday, 14th May followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle. The Lord is my Shepherd.
Samuel (Sam) Leacock, McMasters Crecent, Castledawson
Samuel (Sam) Leacock, 11th May 2023, (peacefully) at Benbradagh Care Home, Upperlands, formerly of McMasters Crecent, Castledawson, loving brother of the late Jim, dearest brother-in-law of Isla, cherished uncle of James, Fiona and Garry and also a dear great-uncle of James, Kara, Ben and Eva. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP, on Friday evening (May 12th) from 7.00pm – 8.00pm. Funeral Service in Garvin’s Funeral Home on Saturday (May 13th) at 1.00pm, followed by burial in Christ Church Parish Churchyard, Castledawson. Family flowers only please. Emma Louise McLaughlin (née Coster), 2 Anderson Crescent, Limavady
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Emma Louise McLaughlin (née Coster), (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family on 11th May 2023. May she rest in peace. Late of 2 Anderson Crescent, Limavady. Beloved wife of John and devoted and loving mother of Joedin. Precious daughter of Rosaleen and Paul and dear sister of Brian. Very fond daughter in law of Joe and the late Mary Martin (née Armstrong). Will be very sorely missed by her loving sisters in law Janice, Martina, Eimer, brothers in law Michael and Marty and her Grandad Coster. Devoted aunt of Sophia, Shéa, Michael, Mia, Callum and Aidan. Deeply regretted by her aunts, uncles, cousins and the entire family circle. Reposing at her parents home 67 Rose Park, Limavady. Wake will commence on Friday, 12th May at 10.00am. Family time please 10.00pm to 10.00am. Funeral on Sunday, 14th May 2023 leaving her parents home at 9.45am for 10.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Limavady. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Kenneth Mervyn (Ken) Morrow, 81 Glenhead Road, Limavady
Kenneth Mervyn (Ken) Morrow, passed away (peacefully) at Oakleaves Care Centre, Derry. Much loved husband of Hazel loving father of Gillian, devoted grandfather of Niamh, Ashton and Georgia, also loving brother of Ena, Robert, Harry, Victor, Margaret Derek, and the late Annie, Sam, Joe, John and Albert. Funeral service in Tamlaghtfinlagan Parish Church on Sunday at 3.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Private family time at his late home 81 Glenhead Road, Limavady from 11.00pm to 11.00am please. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to either Tamlaghtfinlagan Parish Church or Oakleaves Care Centre and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind.
