The following deaths have occurred:-
Tracey Beal (née Lawrence), 49 Parkmore Road, Magherafelt
The death has occurred of Tracey Beal (née Lawrence), 18th May 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry, 49 Parkmore Road, Magherafelt, dearly beloved wife of Mark, much loved and devoted mother of Jamie and Samie-Lee, much adored Nana of Jaxon and dearest sister of Aalvohn, Malando, Dean, Joshua, Harvey, Mandy, Sheridan, Jacqueline, John and Samuel. Family and close friends welcome at her home. Funeral from her home on Saturday at 12 45pm for service in Magherafelt Baptist Church at 1.15pm approx., followed by burial in Polepatrick Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Marie Curie Nursing payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service Donations A/c., 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP. Lovingly remembered by her family and the entire family circle. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
Pat Devine, 10 Rathlin Gardens, Creggan, Derry
The death has taken place of Pat Devine, 18th May 2023, beloved husband of the late Betty, loving father of Paddy, Eddie, Sheena, Katrina, Frankie, Pauline, Elizabeth, Freda, Tracey, Anthony and the late Jackie and Tommy and a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral from his home, 10 Rathlin Gardens, Creggan on Saturday at 9.30am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Brian McKeane, 27 Blackburn Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of Brian McKeane, 17th May 2023, (peacefully) at Edgewater Nursing Home, Newbuildings. Formerly of 27 Blackburn Crescent. Dearly beloved son of the late Charlie and Matilda (Pat). A much loved cousin of David and Peter. A funeral service will take place in Adair & Neely Funeral Home 10-12 Foyle Road on Friday, 19th May 2023 at 1.00pm followed by private family burial at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished in lieu of flowers to Christ Church c/o Miss R Wilson, 8 Richmond Crescent, Derry, BT48 7PQ. Brian will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends.
George Quigley Lindsay, 1 Finn Gardens, Waterside, Derry
The death has taken place of George Quigley Lindsay, 18th May 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 1 Finn Gardens, Waterside (surrounded by his loving family in his 85th years) much loved husband of Elizabeth (Lily) devoted dad of Cathy, Ann and Stephen, loving father-in-law of Gary, Matthew and Karen, adored granda of Jamie, Demi, Amy, Lydia and Sophie, dearest brother of John (Australia) Alan, Andrew and the late Bertie and Lily, a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home on Saturday, 20th May at 12.30pm followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donation in lieu, if desired to Foyle Hospice or Chest, Heart & Stroke c/o Mrs. Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. The Lord is my Shepherd.
