Samuel (Allan) Cassidy, 112 Foreglen Road, Claudy
The death has taken place of the late Samuel (Allan) Cassidy, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Late of 112 Foreglen Road, Claudy. Much loved husband of Linda, loving step father of Suzanne, Stacey, Stella, Robin father of Dermot, Caroline, Rachel, son of Kay and the late Sam, Dear Grandfather, Brother, Brother in law and Uncle. Funeral service will be held in his late home on Sunday at 2.00pm Followed by burial in Upper Cumber Cemetery at 3.00pm. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Air Ambulance NI or Foyle Hospice and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
Frankie Doherty, 12 Demense Gardens, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Frankie Doherty, 31st July 2024, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved husband of Betty, loving father of Paul, Roy, Martina, Derek, Liam, Lorraine, Suzanne and Deirdre, a much loved father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. His remains will be reposing in his home, 12 Demense Gardens. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 12noon. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Oliver Alan David Donaldson, 9 Belagherty Road, Ballyronan
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Oliver Alan David Donaldson (aged 6 years), July 31 2024, (suddenly) at The Royal Belfast Hospital For Sick Children, dearly beloved son of Deborah and Gary, 9 Belagherty Road, Ballyronan, much loved brother of Matilda, darling grandson of Jennifer and David (McGuckin) and Eileen and Alan (Donaldson) and dearest nephew of Gareth and his wife Fiona, Alastair and his wife Kathryn and Colin and his wife Belén and also a dear cousin. House strictly private. Funeral from his home on Saturday (August 3) at 12.15pm for service in St John’s Parish Church, Ballinderry at 1.00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Kilronan School payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c). Catherine Gallagher, 5 Station Road, Figary, Fahan (formerly 34 Pennyburn Court, Derry)
The death has occurred at Altnagelvin Hospital of Catherine Gallagher, 31st July 2024, late of 5 Station Road, Figary, Fahan and formerly 34 Pennyburn Court, Derry. Beloved wife of Paul and much loved mother of David, Elaine, Conor, Ronan, Paula and Lauren. Deeply mourned and will be forever missed by her loving husband, daughters, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, all her extended family, friends and neighbours. Catherine's remains will be reposing at her home where you are welcome to pay your respect. Removal from her home on Saturday morning, 3rd August at 9.30am to St. Mura's Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Daniel (Danny) Kievit, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Daniel (Danny) Kievi, 30th July 2024, (formerly of Bealchmor), beloved partner of the late Peter, loving son of the late Veronica and Joe and dear brother of Joe Jnr. His remains will be reposing in his cousin Veronica’s home, 118 Creggan Road,. Funeral from there on Friday at 11.00am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. The death has taken place of the late Vivienne Dorothy Millar (née Bacon), 31st of July 2024, peacefully at her home: 941 Rockmount Gardens, Articlave. Loving wife of the late David, Beloved mother of Stephen, Michelle, Sabrina, Emma and David. A much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Dear sister of Pat, May, Mervin and the late Elizabeth.
