Eileen Bond (née O'Kane), 120 King’s Lane, Ballykelly
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Eileen Bond (née O'Kane), 9th June 2024,beloved wife of the late James McGonigle and Willie John Bond, loving mother of Angela, Kevin, Martin, Bernadette, Tony, Paula, Jean, Sonia, Nicola and the late Tracy, a devoted mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Grace, Joan and the late Maureen, Bridie, Kathleen, Susie, Willie and Leo. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 120 King’s Lane, Ballykelly, from 12noon - 10.00pm on Monday. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Finlough’s Church, Ballykelly. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Fianna Grace Harkin, 10 Tirruadh Road, Draperstown
We regret to inform you of the death of Fianna Grace Harkin, 8th June 2024. Beloved daughter of Brian and Karen, Sister of Cahair, Shannon, Emma and Sara, Granddaughter of Mickey, Madge and the late Margaret. Funeral from her late home, 10 Tirruadh Road BT45 7HB on Tuesday, 11th June at 1.30pm for 2o’clock requiem Mass in St. Columbas Church Straw. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 10.00pm to 10.00am. Deeply regretted by uncle Gary (Bernie), Eamonn (Jackie),Cousins Lee, Natasha and Finn. Martin (Marty) Kelly, 12 Sunvale Park, Greysteel
The death has taken place of the late Martin (Marty) Kelly, 8th June 2024, beloved son of Angela McKinney, 12 Sunvale Park, Greysteel, loving brother of Megan and Aoibheann, much loved uncle of Grace, cherished grandson of Sadie and the late John. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His remains will be reposing in his granny’s home, 32 St Columba’s Walk, Greysteel. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Margaret McGuckin (née O’Loughlin), 10 Sperrin Drive, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of the late Margaret McGuckin (née O’Loughlin), 8th June 2024, beloved wife of the late Tony and loving mother of PJ, Nicola, Junior, Michael, Julie and the late Clare and Martin, sister of Betty, Francis, Hugh, Gerard and the late Patsy and Anthony. Funeral from her home, 10 Sperrin Drive, on Tuesday, 11th June at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of our Lady of the Assumption Webcam – Magherafelt Parish, interment afterwards in Cemetery of Church of St John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, daughters in law Maureen and Michelle, Dint, grandchildren, brothers, sister, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
Majella Meenan, 19 Circular Road, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Majella Meenan, 8th June 2024, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Lislane Drive), beloved partner of John, loving mother of Tracy, Rachel and Declan, a devoted grandmother to all her grandchildren, dear daughter of the late Myles and Winnie, dear and loving sister of Charlotte, Susan, Teresa, Martina and Betty, a cherished aunt to all her nieces and nephews and mother-in-law to John Paul, Lee and Mandy. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Majella will be reposing at her home, 19 Circular Road, on Monday, 10th June from 1:00pm. Funeral leaving there on Wednesday, 12th June at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Reginald Thomas (Reggie) Orr, 47 Killymallaght Road, Cullion
The death has taken place of the late Reginald Thomas (Reggie) Orr, June 8th 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (formerly of 47 Killymallaght Road, Cullion in his 84th year) much son of the late Robert and Elizabeth, loving brother of Florie, Ronnie, Leslie, Sylvia, William, Isobel, James and the late Sam, a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Service of Thanksgiving for his life in D. & R. Hay & Sons, Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Tuesday, 11th June at 2.00pm, followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Vera Watters (née Gribbin), 7th June 2024, late of 9 Tobermore Road, died peacefully in Macmillan Hospice, Antrim, beloved wife of Derek and loving mother of Paul (Fiona) and Mark (Monique), grandmother to Hannah, Thiago, Dara and Alisha. Daughter of the late Agnes and Edward Gribbin. Funeral from Paul’s home, 7 Mount Royal on Wednesday, 12th June at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass at Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and via webcam Webcam – Magherafelt Parish Funeral Mass will be followed by private cremation.
