Desmond Green, 11 Sheriff's Glen, Springtown Road, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Desmond Green, 15th September 2024, suddenly at his home. Beloved husband of Roisin. Loving father of Louise, Desmond, Paula, Maria, Sarah, Thomas and George. Much loved grandfather of Jennifer, Shane, Georgina, Claire, Jack, Daniel, Anna, Thomas, Alex, Chloe, Katie, Emily, Callen, Leighton, Tristan, Brontë, Darragh, Noah, Matthew, Aaron, Cain and Bryanna. A much loved great grandfather and great great grandfather. Desmond will be reposing at his family home, 11 Sheriff's Glen, Springtown Road from 11.00am today (Monday). Wake private for Family and close friends only. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.20am to St Eugene's Cathedral at 10.00am. Private cremation at a later date. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Knock pray for him.
Rois Gribbin (née Moran), 41 Broagh Road, Castledawson
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Rois Gribbin (née Moran), 14th September 2024, former ICU nurse Mid Ulster Hospital, beloved wife of Hugh and loving mother of Ciaran, Mary Teresa, Aidan, John and Gerardine (McGuigan), daughter of the late Joseph and Teresa Moran and dear sister of Marie (O’Connor), Francie, John, Brendan, Margaret (Kerr), Larry and the late Joe and Alice (Pickering). Funeral from her home, 41 Broagh Road, on Tuesday, 17th September for 11.30am Requiem Mass in Church of St Mary Bellaghy, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. United Hearts of Jesus and Mary pray for her gentle loving soul. St Joseph pray for her. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters, son in law Patrick, daughters in law Donna, Clodagh and Margarida, grandchildren James, Enda, Gabriel, Jack, Xavier and Tomás, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, wider family circle and community. Sean McElholm, 12 Summerhill, Prehen, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Sean McElholm (Ex "Call A Cab"), 14th September 2024, Peacefully at Altnagelvin after a short illness. Husband of the late Nuala, loving father of Dermot, Ronan and Niamh, father-in-law of Ann, Mary and Tim, much loved grandfather of Michael, Sean, Aine, Blathnaid, Orlaith and Cara. His remains will be reposing in his home, 12 Summerhill, Prehen. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.30am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in St Columbs Church, Chapel Rd ,Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery Ardmore. Family time please from 9.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Bridie O'Hara, 21 Laurel Hill, Coleraine
The death has taken place of the late Bridie O'Hara, 15th September 2024, at the Cottage Nursing Home Coleraine, late of 21 Laurel Hill, Coleraine, dearly beloved wife of the late Tommy, loving mother of Valerie, David, Paul and Stephen dear mother-in-law of Alex, Daphne and Suzanne and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral from her daughter's home, 53 Beechcroft, Ballymoney on Wednesday, 18th September at 1.30pm for service in Killowen Parish Church Coleraine at 2.00pm, followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery.
