The following deaths have occurred:-
James Adams, 33 Tobermore Road, Desertmartin
The death has taken place of James Adams, 5th August 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 33 Tobermore Road, Desertmartin, dearly beloved husband of Chirstine, much loved and devoted father of Fiona, Ruth and Sharon, dear father-in-law of Robert, Laurie and Stuart, also a loving grandfather, great-grandfather and dearest brother of Fred, Robin, Keatley and Trevor. House strictly private. Funeral service in Magherafelt Independent Methodist Church on Monday (August 7) at 1:30pm followed by burial in Lecumpher Presbyterian Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Magherafelt Independent Methodist Church Hall Building Fund, payable to Garvins Funeral Service Donations A/c. Always loved and remembered by his family and the entire family circle.
Margaret Friel, 79 Central Drive, Creggan, Derry
The death has taken place of Margaret Friel, 5th August 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, Beloved Daughter of the Late Lily and Dan Loving Sister of Bobby, Jim, Ann, Mary Jo, Patricia and the late Dan, Hunter, Phil, Michael and Baby Martin. Much loved Aunt to all her nephews and nieces. Funeral from her home 79 Central Drive, Creggan on Monday at 11.30am to St Marys Church, Cerggan for Requiem Mass at 12pm. George Fullerton, 32 Hospital Road, Magherafelt
The death has occurred of George Fullerton, 5th August 2023, (peacefully) in the loving care of his family, dearly beloved husband of Christine, 32 Hospital Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted father of Kristal and Jamie, dear father-in-law of Jonathan, loving granda of Shanelle and Sebastian and dearest brother of Margaret, Gerry, Irene, Jennifer and Rhonda. Family and friends welcome at his home. Funeral from his home on Tuesday (August 8) at 1:15pm for service in St John’s Parish Church, Moneymore at 2:00pm (approx.) followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of Samuel McKnight, 6th August 2023, (suddenly) at his home, 5 Hammond Street, Moneymore, dearly loved Husband of Jean, much loved Father of Philip, Alastair and Carol, a dear Father-in-Law of Pamela, Sharon and Dirk, devoted Granda of Emma, Amy and Matthew and dearest Brother of Essie (Hessin), Marion (Watters), twin Mary (Derby) and the late Margaret (Anderson), Robert and Alexander. Eileen McReynolds (née McErlean), 46 Chapel Road, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eileen McReynolds (née McErlean), (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family on 5th of August 2023. May she rest in peace. Late of 46 Chapel Road, Dungiven, Co Derry and formerly Drumard, Lavey. Beloved wife of the late Dan R.I.P and loving mother of Anne Thomson, Donal, Bernard, Catherine Collins, Oonagh McHugh, Nuala McKee, Fearghal and Paul. Dear sister of the late Liam and Colm R.I.P. Deeply regretted by her loving grandchildren, daughters in law , sons in law, sister in law Theresa and the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Family time please 10pm to 11am. Funeral on Tuesday 8th of August leaving her late home at 10.40am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. The death has taken place of Sheila Jane Moore, 6th August 2023, (peacefully) at Magherafelt Manor Nursing Home, dearly loved Wife of the late Roy, 13 Mill Crescent, Tobermore, much loved Mother of Keith and Gregory, a dear Mother-in-Law of Audrey and Lorna, devoted Granny of Glenn and his Wife Erin, Morgan and his Partner Nicole and Laura, Great Granny of Carson and Addie and dearest Sister of Mary and the late Edward, Leo, Kathleen and Peggy. House strictly private. Funeral from her home on Tuesday, August 8th at 10:30am to Tobermore Presbyterian Church for service at 11:00am, followed by burial in Tobermore Presbyterian Cemetery.
