The death has occurred of the late Joella Cowan (née McCafferty), 7th September 2024, beloved wife of the late Lloyd, loving mother of Jim and Loretta, mother-in-law of Cheryl and Allaister and devoted grandmother of Katy and Jackie. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Monday from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral service will take place in Faughanvale Presbyterian Church, Eglinton, on Tuesday at 2o'clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining burying ground. The Lord is my shepherd.
James Gilmore,17 Springfield Park, Bellaghy
We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late James Gilmore, late of 17 Springfield Park, Bellaghy (formerly Staffordstown), 8th September 2024 (peacefully at hospital), beloved husband of May, much loved father of Terence and Gareth and loving brother of the late Hughie, Patrick, Harry, Kathleen (McTeague), Charlotte, Jean (Gilmore), Peggy, Sally, Maisie and Brigid (McGuckin). James’s wake and funeral arrangements have yet to be finalised. Family time requested please between 10.00pm and 11.00am. The death has taken place of the late Brendan Kelly, (Mulnavoo Road, Draperstown), 7th September 2024, peacefully surrounded by his family, loving husband of Margaret and devoted father of Stephen, Michael, Brenda, Ciara and Paul, brother of Rosemary (McGrogan), Malachy and the late Owen, proud Grandfather of Michéal, Tomás, Daniel, Sophie, Erin, Dara, Jude, Roan, Hugo and Ben. Funeral on Tuesday 10th September 2024 from his late residence 37 Mulnavoo Road, Draperstown, BT45 7DX at 10.30am for 11o'clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene's Church, Moneynena, Draperstown. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Odhran Roderick Pio Archibald O’Connor (Archie), Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Odhran Roderick Pio Archibald O’Connor (Archie) suddenly on 6th September 2024, may he rest in peace. Beloved son of Grainne and Roderick. Loving partner of Carolann. Very much loved brother of Chloe and Keelan and will be sadly missed by Darrell, Bliain, Tiarnan and Rachel. Very deeply regretted by his aunts, uncles, cousins, the entire family circle and the Sierra Community. Reposing at his mothers home 9 O’Cahan’s Place, Dungiven. Teresa Ward (née McCafferty), 21 Lislane Road, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Teresa Ward (née McCafferty), suddenly at her home on 7th September 2024. Late of 21 Lislane Drive. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of Liam. Devoted mother of Colette, Teresaann and the late William David. A much loved mother-in-law of Gerald and the late Pearce. Loving granny of Gerald, Ruairi, Eimeár and Erin. Dearest sister of Liz and Aloysius. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Teresa’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 21 Lislane Drive. Funeral service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Racecourse Road, at 12noon on Tuesday, 10th September followed by burial in Altnagelvin cemetery.
