The death has taken place of the late Raymond Edward Walter (Ray) Darby, October 19 2024, Peacefully at his home, 20 Silverbrook Park, Newbuildings (surrounded by his loving family), much loved husband of Carole, loving dad of Keith and partner Charlene and Adele, adored granda of Ryan, Jessica, Amy and Leah, dearest brother of Diann, Avril, Frankie, Barry and the late Linda and Barbara. Funeral arrangements later (all enquires to D. & R. Hay & Sons, Funeral Directors 028 71312567). Patricia (Pat) McWilliams, Glengiven Avenue, Limavady
The death has taken place of the late Patricia (Pat) McWilliams, October 17 2024, passed away suddenly in Altnagelvin Hospital (Formerly of Glengiven Avenue, Limavady), beloved daughter of the late Annie and James and loving sister of Patsy and the late Mickey, John, James, Annie, Margaret, Bridget, Betty, Frances and Josephine. Deeply loved by her nieces and nephews and a very special friend of the Mc Nulty family and to Anne. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton on Monday evening from 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Her remains will be removed from there on Tuesday at 5.00pm to St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven for Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family Flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to St Vincent de Paul, Limavady c/o The Parish Office, Irish Green Street, Limavady. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Bernadette (Dette) Shivers (née Scullion), 82 Highfield Road, Magherafelt
The death has occurred of the late Bernadette (Dette) Shivers (née Scullion), October 20 2024, beloved wife of the late John Joseph and loving mother of Rosemarie (Divito), Catherine (McShane) and Stella (Eve), mother in law of Paul Divito, Edwin Eve and the late John McShane, dear sister of Veronica Wadwhani, Josephine McMullan, Hugh Scullion and the late Esther McCann. Funeral from her home, 82 Highfield Road on Tuesday, October 22 for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her daughters, sons in law, grandchildren Cleo (Amado), Nico (Alana), John, Serena, Laura, James, great grandchildren Remo, Layla, Maria, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. The wake for Bernadette will commence on Monday, October 21 at 11.00am until 9.00pm.
