The following deaths have occurred:-
Jean Bernadette Feeney (née Bell), 12 Dawros Gardens, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Jean Bernadette Feeney (née Bell), peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by all of her loving family on 18th August 2023. Late of 12 Dawros Gardens. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of Tony. Devoted mother of Mark, Shauna and Barry. Loving granny of Paul, Lee, Aodhan, Caitlin, Shaughnessy, Sháe and Aaron. A much loved great-grandmother of Jayden, Ollie, Ivy-Rose, Raibh, Myah and Esmáe. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her loving brothers and sisters, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Jean’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 12 Dawros Gardens. Funeral leaving from there on Monday, 21st August at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Mariusz Golofit, 18c Bond’s Street, Waterside, Derry
The death has occurred of Mariusz Golofit, 16th August 2023, (suddenly) at his home, 18c Bond’s Street, Waterside loving partner of Wioletta, dear father of Ula, dearest step-dad of Wiktoria. Funeral Mass will be held in D. & R. Hay & Sons, Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Saturday, 19th August at 2.30pm followed by Cremation in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan on Sunday, 20th August leaving the Funeral Home at 9.30am arriving approx. 12.30pm Everyone is welcome to call at the Funeral Home on Saturday, 18th August from 11.00am until 2.00pm. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Jane Kealey (née Smith), 51 East Road, Limavady
The death has occurred of Jane Kealey (née Smith), 18th August 2023, (peacefully) at home, beloved wife of John, 51 East Road, Limavady, loving mother of Stephen, Stewart and Frances, much loved grandmother of Isabella, Layla, Eli and Robyn-Jane, mother-in-law of Kymm and Mark and dear sister of Jimmy. Her remains will be reposing in her home from 11.00am on Saturday. Funeral from there on Monday at 10.10am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Limavady. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 10.00am. Family flowers only please. Michael O'Connor, 4 Hawthorn Park, Greysteel
The death has taken place of Michael O'Connor, 17th August 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 4 Hawthorn Park, Greysteel, beloved husband of Teresa, devoted daddy of Tanya, Jonathan, Don, Niall and Nadine, father-in-law to Gary, Nicola, Aideen, Karla and Fergal, loving granda to Leah, Oisín, Rhys, Loghan, Nevada, Sháe and Brody, cherished son of the late James and Bridget O’Connor, dear brother of Ellen, Maggie, Rosie, Bernie, Kevin, Gerard, Willie and the late Mary-Ann, Jim and Pat and a much loved uncle and brother-in-law. His remains are reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Sunday at 11.20am for 12o'clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
