Elsie Marion Clarke (née McClure), 126 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt
The death has occurred of Elsie Marion Clarke (née McClure), called home 20th October 2023, (peacefully) at Magherafelt Manor Care Home, in her 91st year, dearly beloved wife of the late Jim, 126 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, precious and much loved mother of David, Dorothy, Alison and Colin, dear mother-in-law of Natalya, Michael and Linda, darling grandmother of Emily and her husband Stephen, Nicola, Rachel and her husband Jamie and Stas and dearest sister of Robert, Edmund and the late James and Richard. House strictly private apart from Saturday (21st October) from 2.00pm to 9.00pm. Funeral service in Woodschapel Parish Church on Sunday, 22nd October at 2.45pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Eamon (Ham) Coll, Derry
The death has occurred of Eamon (Ham) Coll, 18th October 2023, suddenly at home. Loving Father of Tony, Gary and Shane. Beloved Son of the late Tony and Frances. Dear Brother of Danny, Paula, Kathleen and the late Thomas, Sheila, Tony, Seamus (Bacon) and baby Shaun. Funeral from his sister Paula's home, 191 Kylemore Park, Derry on Monday, 23rd October at 9.20am to St Mary's Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul.
Johnny Devine, 87 Moss Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Johnny Devine, 19th October 2023, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Donnybrewer, Campsie), beloved husband of the late Patsy, loving father of Janice, Linda, John Paul and David, devoted grandfather of Denis, Jay, Mathew, Conor, Zac, Mia and Rosa, dear father-in-law of Denis, Gary, Ursula and Roisin, dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters and the entire family circle. Johnny will be reposing at his home, 87 Moss Park on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am to 10.00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Monday, 23rd October at 9.20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Armour John Donnell, 19th October 2023, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family in his 83rd year) much loved husband of Isobel, devoted dad of Sandra and partner Christina, Shane and Sharon, loving father-in-law of Lisa, adored pappa of Corey, Dylan, Lauren, Ollie, Harry, Thomas, Maisie and Lottie, dearest brother of Hughie, George, Davie, Freddie, and the late Stewart and Robert. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home, 293 Longland Road, Claudy on Monday, 23rd October at 12.00noon followed by burial in Upper Cumber Cemetery. Eddie Kerr, 33 Ashfield Terrace, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eddie Kerr, at the North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin, surrounded by all of his loving family on 20th October 2023. Late of 33 Ashfield Terrace. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Annette. Devoted father of Tara, Shane and Kevin. A much loved father-in-law of Eric and Tali. Loving grandfather of Aoife, Saorlaith and Ella. Precious son of the late Eddie and Sheila. Dearest brother of Liz, John and Debbie. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 17 Knoxhill Avenue, Prehen. Funeral from there on Sunday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Columb’s Church, Waterside. The death has taken place of Tom Quinn, 19th October 2023, (peacefully), 29 Ballymaguigan Road, Magherafelt, beloved husband of Kathleen, much loved father of Francis, and dearest brother of Anne (McKenna). Tom’s remains will leave his late residence on Sunday, 22nd October at 11.20am for 12noon Requiem Mass in St. Trea’s Church, Newbridge (which can be viewed via the parish webcam), burial immediately afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery Milltown.
