The following deaths have occurred:-
Seamus McAllister, 22 Cashelmore Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Seamus McAllister, 26th November 2022, beloved husband of Fiona, 22 Cashelmore Park, devoted father of Sarah and Anna, father-in-law of Richard and Sean, much loved grandfather of Ruairi and dear brother of Fiona, Kieran, Tracey and Aisling. Funeral from his home on Monday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Friends of Altnagelvin (Ward 26) C/o Mr Brian Moran, MDEC Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, Derry, BT47 6SB. Jean McFadden (neé Beattie), 86 Springhill Road, Moneymore
The death has taken place of Jean McFadden (neé Beattie), 25th November 2022, (peacefully) at The Milesian Manor Nursing Home, Magherafelt, Jean, dearly loved Wife of Richard, 86 Springhill Road, Moneymore, much loved Mother of Jeremy and Judith, a dear Mother-in-Law of Richard and Wiebke, treasured Nana of Elise, Zach, Josh, Leah and Sam and beloved Sister of Maureen and Jim. Funeral service in her home on Monday, 28th November, commencing at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Tamlaght Parish Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Dementia UK, payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. Gone to be with Christ, which is far better.
Colm McGuinness, 60 Coney Road, Culmore, Derry
The death has taken place of Colm McGuinness, 26th November 2022, (peacefully) at home, beloved husband of Maura, 60 Coney Road, Culmore, loving father of Aisling, Kerry and Orla, father-in-law of Donnough and Brian, devoted grandfather of Darragh, Sean and Anna and dear brother of Seamus and the late Aidan and Dominic. Funeral from his home on Monday at 11.50am for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. A private cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at a later date. Family time please from 9.00pm to 12noon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Gerard O'Connor, Eglinton
The death has occurred of Gerard O'Connor, 25th November 2022, (Carn Na Coille Farm and formerly of Eglinton D.I.Y.), (suddenly but peacefully) in South Africa in the loving care of the Bruce-Brand family, beloved husband of Rosemary, much loved father of Suzanne and Ronan, father-in-law of Rob Bruce-Brand and Lesley-Ann, adored Granda of Zoe & Orla, Loretta & Finn and much loved brother of Jackie, Claire, Margaret, Geraldine and the late Brian. Funeral arrangements later. House private please until further notice. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. St Pio intercede for him.
Bridie Stevenson (née Lynch), 80 Main Street, Feeny
The death has taken place of Bridie Stevenson (née Lynch) (Feeny), 25th November 2022, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of Seamus, loving mother of Garrie (Francesca), Tracy (Damhnaic), much loved granny of Caidan, Cillian, Sienna, Ciarnan, Micheál and Casey. Funeral leaving her late residence, 80 Main Street, Feeny on Monday at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church Fincarn. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, son, daughter and sadly missed by her mother, sisters, brothers, sisters in law, brothers in law and wide family circle. Our Lady of Lourdes Pray for her. Family flowers only please. Wake parking in St.Mary’s Banagher GAC grounds if required. Requiem Mass can be viewed on the Banagher Parish webcam.
