Mary Ellen Arnett (née McLaughlin), 21 Kylemore Park, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Mary Ellen Arnett (née McLaughlin), 27th July 2024, beloved wife of the late Patrick, 21 Kylemore Park, loving mother of Christine, Eugene , Helen and Brenda, mother-in-law of Roy, Frank and Gerald, devoted granny of Laura, Carla, Megan and Sean, great-granny of Grace, Aoife, Conor, Charlotte and Caelan and dear sister of William, Fionnuala and the late Margaret, Christina and Brian. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Sarah Edith (Edie) Doherty, 29 Clintonville Gardens, Garvagh
The death has taken place of the late Sarah Edith (Edie) Doherty, 26th July 2024, peacefully, at Bohill Care Home, 29 Clintonville Gardens, Garvagh, dearly beloved wife of the late Willie, much loved mother of Margaret, William and the late Susan and a dear mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Family and friends welcome at her home. Funeral service in First Garvagh Presbyterian Church on Monday at 12noon followed by interment in adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please.
