The following deaths have occurred:-
Joan Elizabeth Hepburn (née Beresford), 13a Drumard Road, Draperstown
The death has occurred of Joan Elizabeth Hepburn (née Beresford), 3rd June 2023, (peacefully) at her home, 13a Drumard Road, Draperstown, dearly loved Wife of Stanley, devoted Mother of Andrew, James and Trevor, loving Mother-in-Law of Daphne and Lucinda, proud Granny Joan to Katie, Ella, Leah and Chloe and Great Granny to Harrison. House strictly private (Family and Friends welcome). A Service of Thanksgiving for Joan's Life will take place at her home on Monday, 5th June, commencing at 1.00pm (All welcome), followed by burial in St. Columba's Parish Churchyard, Ballynascreen, Draperstown (at 2.00pm approx). No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Macmillan Cancer Support, payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. The Lord is my Shepherd.
James McDevitt, 73 Petrie Way, Derry
The death has occurred of James McDevitt, 2nd June 2023, (peacefully) at home, darling husband of Karen, 73 Petrie Way, devoted father of Aidan and Niamh, father-in-law of Peter, cherished son of Kathleen and the late Brian, dear brother of Fr. John, Fionnuala, Agnes, Marian, Brian and Declan, son-in-law of Kevin and Colette and a much loved brother-in-law and uncle. James’ funeral will take place from his home on Sunday at 12.50pm for 1.30pm funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, Marie Curie, the Foyle Hospice or Friends of Altnagelvin (Ward 50). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Robert McManus, 19 Crawford Square, Limavady
The death has taken place of Robert McManus, (peacefully) passed away at his home, 19 Crawford Square, Limavady on 2nd June 2023. Much loved son Cyril and the late Annie. Loving Brother of Rebecca, Ann, John. Dear Brother in Law of Aidie and Ian. Also a much loved Uncle and Great Uncle. Funeral will be held on Sunday, 4th June at his home at 2.00pm. Followed by burial in Enagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Foyle Hospice C/O Browns Funeral Directors 21 Aghanloo Ind Est., Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
Bosco Moore (Butcher), 8 Hatmore Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Bosco Moore (Butcher), 1st June 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 8 Hatmore Park, beloved husband of Ruby, loving father of Darren, Leona, Edele and Keith, devoted grandfather to Caolan, Riley, Kiersha, Colton, Harlow and Cian, great-grandfather to Arianna, dear son of the late Liam and Florrie, loving brother of Lily, Liam, Jim, Noel, Deirdre, Martin, Gregory, Richard, Kevin and the late Margaret and Pearse. Loved and sadly missed by the wider family circle. Funeral leaving his home on Sunday, 4th June at 12.50pm to St. Mary’s Church Creggan for funeral Mass at 11.30pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
