The following deaths have occurred:-
Michael Craig, 38 St Canice’s Park, Eglinton
The death has occurred of the late Michael Craig, 15th November 2023, beloved husband of Bridgeen, 38 St Canice’s Park, Eglinton, loving father of Michael, Colette and Jennifer, father-in-law of Clare, Paul and Ross, a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather and dear brother of Gretta, Marie, Mary and the late Jimmy. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Friday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 12noon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Noel Fulton, 6 Faulkner Court, Brigade Road, Derry
The death has taken place of Noel Fulton, 6 Faulkner Court, Brigade Road on 13th November 2023. Noel will be deeply missed by his wife Donna and his children Adam, Daniel and Jamie-Lee. Noel was a much loved Son, Father, Father in law and Grandad. Fondly known to his grandchildren as their "Cuppy". Noel's family have asked for privacy at his family home. Internment in City Cemetery on Friday at 12noon. All are welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers to Altnagelvin Renal Unit care of Any family Member.
Brian Paul Harkin, 45 Francis Street, Derry
The death has occurred of Brian Paul Harkin, 12th November 2023, suddenly, (formerly of 45 Francis Street, late of Holly Lane, Gransha Park), beloved son of Joan, (Hannah) and the late Charlie, loving brother of Connell, Lawrence and Susan. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Brian will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Thursday, 16th November from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Friday, 17th November at 9.30am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Robert (Roy) Latta, 15th November 2023, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family in his 80th year), much loved husband of May, devoted dad of Suzanne and Graeme, loving father-in-law of Dale, adored granda of Shannon and Chloe, great-granda of Freya. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home, 3 Woodburn Park on Friday, 17th November at 11.00am followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. The death has taken place of Kathleen McClay (née Hegarty), 15th November 2023, peacefully at her home, 5 Fallowfield Park, Lisaghmore, beloved wife of the late Eamonn, loving mother of Edward, Mary, Tracey and Barry and a devoted granny, dear sister of Margaret and the late Ellen, Mary, Jean and Bridie and a dear mother-in-law. Kathleen will be reposing at her home on Thursday from 1.00pm to 10.00pm. Funeral leaving her home on Friday, 17th November at 10.20am to Immaculate Conception Church, Trench Road for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. John McCloskey, Grange, Inch Island (formerly Rossdowney Park)
The death has taken place at the Foyle Hospice of John McCloskey, 15th November 2023, Grange, Inch Island and formerly Rossdowney Park, Derry. Beloved husband of Siobhan; loving father of Mairead and Roisin; father-in-law of Tony; much loved grandfather of Sorcha, Niamh and Sinead and dear brother of Michael, Francis and Anne. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister, brothers, his extended family, friends and neighbours. John's remains will be reposing at his home from 5.00pm this evening (Thursday, 16th November). Removal from his home on Saturday afternoon, 18th November at 1.15pm going to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed on YouTube Parish of Fahan. Family time please from 11.00pm to 11.00am.
Martin McElhinney, Tamnaherin, County Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Martin McElhinney, peacefully at Foyle Hospice on 14th November 2023. May he rest in peace. Late of 148 Lettershandoney Avenue, Co Derry and formerly of Glengrainne Gardens, Park, Co Derry. Beloved son of the late James and Catherine McElhinney R.I.P (Tamnagh). Loving brother of Bridie and the late John R.I.P and fond brother in law of Noel. Adored by his loving nephews Seamus, Christopher, Michael, Oliver, Niall and niece Mary.
