The death has taken place of the late Ellen Sarah Buxton (née Boyd), 18th September 2024, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, late of Moneydig, much loved mother of Tracy and Andrew and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Service at her daughter Tracy's home on Friday followed by committal at Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish Churchyard at 2.30pm. House strictly private. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired to N.I. Moya McClafferty (née Cassidy), 18 Belmont Crescent, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Moya McClafferty (née Cassidy), peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on 18th September 2024. Late of 18 Belmont Crescent. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late John L. McClafferty. Devoted mother of Joanne, John and Tom. Loving grandmother of Sophie and James. A much loved sister of Eileen and Tom. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends. Moya’s remains will be reposing at her late residence, 18 Belmont Crescent from 1.00pm today (Thursday, 19th September). Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, 21st September at 9:20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 10.00pm in the evenings until 1 00pm in the afternoons. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late George Sands (Geordie) Smyth, September 18th 2024, (peacefully) at his home, 10 Lecumpher Road, Desertmartin, dearly loved Husband of Betty, much loved Father of Joanne and Melanie, a dear Father-in-Law of Trevor and Gareth, proud Granda of Jack, Christopher, Daniel, Harry and Hannah and dearest Brother of Eileen, Florence, Elsie, Jimmy, Davy, Gordon and the late Anna, Bill and Laurence. All welcome at the Family home. Funeral will take place from his home on Saturday, September 21st at 1:00pm, to Lecumpher Presbyterian Church for service at 1:30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. The death has taken place of the late Dianne Thomas, 17th September 2024, suddenly at home 169 Shepherds Glen. Funeral service in Adair & Neely Funeral Home, 10-12 Foyle Road at 10.30am on Sunday, 22nd September 2024 followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
