The following deaths have occurred:-
James (Jim) McCallion, 7 Dunaff Gardens, Derry
The death has taken place of James (Jim) McCallion, 23rd August 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Marie-Therese, Shauna and Niall, devoted grandfather of Eoghan, Rachel, Cormac, Niamh and Emma and great-grandfather of Fionn-James and Anna-Jane. Jim will be reposing at his home, 7 Dunaff Gardens on Thursday from 10.00am to 11.00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Friday, 25th August at 9.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry or via https://foylehospice.com/fundraising/inlieuofflowers/. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
