Alwyn James Campbell, 56 Burnside Park, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Alwyn James Campbell, 26th July 2023, (suddenly) at his home 56 Burnside Park, Coleraine. Beloved husband of AnnMarie, loving father of Alwyn, and Sonia, and a much loved grandfather. Son of the late William and Anna Campbell and dear brother of Noel, Rita, Sandra, Harry and the late Gilbert. Family and friends welcome at O’Brien’s of Limavady funeral home 10 Ballyclose Street, Limavady on Wednesday from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Funeral will leave from funeral home on Thursday at 1.20pm for graveside service at 2.00pm in Coleraine Cemetery. The Lord is my Shepherd.
William (Willie) Harkin, 10 Derramore Avenue, Magherafelt
The death has occurred of William (Willie) Harkin, 2nd August 2023, (peacefully), 10 Derramore Avenue, Magherafelt, beloved husband of Anna (nee Doyle), much loved father of Mark, Una (Walsh) Mary (Evans) and the late infant Liam and loving brother of May, Bridget, Tommy, Kathleen, Jean and the late Barney, John, Paddy, James, Danny, Tina and Kevin. Funeral Arrangements Later. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, sons in law Sean and Andy, daughter in law Julie, brothers in law, sisters in law, grandchildren: Katie, Conor, Anna, Eilish, Daniel, Sean and Aoife and extended family circle. James C Hegarty, Greenhill House, 24 Greenhill Road, Aghadowey
The death has taken place of James C Hegarty, 1st August 2023, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, Greenhill House, 24 Greenhill Road, Aghadowey, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth, much loved father of Jayne, David and the late Carol and devoted grandfather of Cathy, James, Peter and Mark. Funeral Service in Aghadowey Presbyterian Church on Friday at 2.00pm followed by interment in adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Desmond (Des) Kerr, 38 Hill View Avenue, Prehen, Derry
The death has taken place of Desmond (Des) Kerr, 1st August 2023, (suddenly), beloved husband of Maeve, loving father of Brendan, Dermot, Deirdre, Adrian, Paul and Caroline and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. Desmond will be reposing at his home, 38 Hillview Avenue, Prehen on Thursday from 12:00noon to 10:00pm. House private on Friday morning. Funeral leaving his home on Friday at 10:20am to St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, or St. Vincent de Paul Society, Ozanam House, 22 Bridge Street, Derry. John McCamphill, 21 Blighs Gardens, Derry
The death has occurred of John McCampbill, 2nd August 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 21 Blighs Gardens, beloved husband of the late Nellie, Loving father of Martina, Anne, Rosemary, Thomas and Julie, devoted granda to Jonathan, Tanya, Christopher, Matthew, Rachel, Jaymée, Holly, Aiden and Anthony, dear brother of the late Eddie, Mary, Lily, Tommy, Rosaleen, Bridie and Sean. John will be reposing at his home on Wednesday, 2nd August from 6:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Friday at 9:30am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Helen McFeely (née Lynch), 49 Braefield, Claudy
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Helen McFeely (née Lynch), (suddenly) at Letterkenny Hospital on 2nd August 2023. May she rest in peace. Helen was very accepting of her long illness of MS carrying out her role as a wife and mother daily in a truly remarkable way. Beloved wife of Andy and loving mother of the late infant Andrea R.I.P, Nicole (Owen) and Tara. Daughter of the late Susan and Dan R.I.P and dear sister of Marie, Sally, Bridie, Jude and Shane. Deeply regretted by her dear friend and carer Beatrice, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home, 49 Braefield, Claudy, Co Derry. Wake is for family and close friends 1.00pm to 9 00pm on Thursday (3rd) and Friday (4th). Funeral from her late home on Saturday, 5th August leaving at 11.15am for 12noon Requiem Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, Altinure, interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery, Derry. Gérard (Bap) O'Kane, 25 Abbots Walk, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Gérard (Bap) O’Kane, (suddenly) at Altnagelvin Hospital on 31st July 2023. May he rest in peace. Beloved son of the late Bebe and Matt. Loving brother of Feargal, Martin, Siobhan, Fiona, Sally and the late Barry, Liam and Michael. A much loved father. Dearest uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Gérard’s remains are now reposing at his late family home, 25 Abbots Walk. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, 3rd August at 11:20am for 12.00pm Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
