Greta Cooke (née McQuaid), Galliagh Park, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Greta Cooke (née McQuaid), 5th May 2024, peacefully at Edenballymore Lodge Care Home, (late of Galliagh Park, formerly of Westland Avenue), beloved mother of Brenda, Monica, Jeffrey, Eoin, Deirdre and Denise. Greta will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, today (Tuesday) from 3.45pm to 5.30pm. Removal leaving there on Tuesday at 5.30pm to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower to repose overnight with Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10.00am. A private cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan on Thursday. No flowers please. Thérèse of Lisieux pray for her. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.
Lorraine Hassan (née McClarey), 16 Whitehill Park, Limavady
The death has taken place of the late Lorraine Hassan (née McClarey), 5th May 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of Michael. Loving mother of Gemma, mother-in-law of Canice, a much loved grandmother of Grace. Dear daughter of the late Tony and Elizabeth R.I.P. Dear Sister of Colin, James, Martina, Edward and Anthony. Funeral from her home, 161 Whitehill Park, Limavady on Wednesday, 8th May at 10.20am for Requiem mass in Christ the King Church Limavady at 11.00am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Rosella Margaret McLean (née Hutchinson), 11 Falgortrevy Road, Maghera
The death has taken place of the late Rosella Margaret McLean (née Hutchinson), 6th May 2024, (peacefully) at The Causeway Hospital, (in her 96th year), dearly beloved Wife of the late Harry, 11 Falgortrevy Road, Maghera, much loved Mother of David, Alan, Steven and Malcolm and a loving Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Tuesday evening (May 7th) from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Rosella's Life will take place in Tobermore Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 8th at 2:00pm, followed by burial in Kilcronaghan Parish Churchyard. The death has occurred of the late Jean Nesbitt (née Cunningham), 5th May 2024, peacefully, late of 86 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack, devoted mother of Jackie, Janice and the late Joe and a much loved mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Service of Thanksgiving in St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Coleraine on Thursday at 11.00am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. No flowers please.
