The following deaths have occurred:-
Robert Keith Garfield, 9 Mourne Drive, Waterside, Derry
The death has occurred of Robert Keith Garfield, 8th May 2023, (suddenly) at his home, 9 Mourne Drive, Waterside, (surrounded by his loving family) much loved and devoted husband of Sharon, loving dad of Sarah, dearest father-in-law of Tom, special brother of Jack, Richard, Alan, Audrey (twin sister) Adrian and the late Eric and George. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home on Friday, 12th May at 1.00pm followed by burial in Upper Cumber Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Chest, Heart & Stroke c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Raymond (Griff) Griffin, 169 Lone Moor Road, Derry
The death has occurred of Raymond (Griff) Griffin, 9th May 2023, (peacefully) at his daughter Sarah’s home, 10 Westland Street, (Griff, late of 169 Lone Moor Road), beloved husband of Paddyann, loving father of Cónall and Sarah, devoted grandfather to Coryn-Belle, Mairéad, Grace and Corey, father-in-law to Michelle and Frankie, dear son of the late Liam and Lily, loving brother of Maretti, Liam, Peter and the late Paul, and a loving brother-in-law. Funeral leaving his daughter Sarah’s home on Friday, 12th May at 9.20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
Margaret Elizabeth Loughrey (née Hynds), 52 Loughanhill Park, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Margaret Elizabeth Loughrey (née Hynds), 9th May 2023, (peacefully, after a long illness), 52 Loughanhill Park, Coleraine, dearly loved wife of Sandy, much loved mother of Stephen, Mark and Richard, mother-in-law to Ellen and dear sister of Millie, Lexie and the late Jackie. Service in her home on Friday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery, Portrush (via Gateside). Family flowers only please. Teresa McGaughey, Holmlea Park, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Teresa McGaughey (peacefully) at Cornfield Care Centre on the 9th May 2023, late of Holmlea Park, Dungiven. Beloved daughter of the late William and Ellen McGaughey. Loving sister of the late Rev. Fr. John McGaughey, Annie (Brolly), Rev. Fr. William McGaughey, Rosie (O’Kane), Mary (Gormley), Eileen (Deeny), Peter McGaughey, Celine (Donaghey) and Bridget (who died in infancy). Will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews and the entire family circle. Reposing at her former childhood residence, 56 Monadore Road, Altinure, Park, Co Derry, BT47 4DP. Family time please from 11.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Thursday, 11th May leaving at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary's Altinure. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please and donations if desired in lieu to Saint Vincent De Paul Society c/o McLaughlin Funeral Directors. Maisie McIlroy, 64 Cullyrammer Road, Garvagh
The death has taken place of Maisie McIlroy, 8th May 2023, (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family, Maisie, late of 64 Cullyrammer Road, Garvagh. Dearly loved wife of the late Clarke; loving mother of Kenneth (Mary), Alan and Claire (Derek); devoted Nana of Karen (James), Laura (David), James, the late Baby Kenneth, Adam and Mark and great Nana of Daniel, Judith, Matthew and Zara. House strictly private please. Graveside service will take place on Thursday at 2.00pm in Moneydig Presbyterian Church graveyard. Everyone welcome to attend. Family flowers only please. Service in 2nd Dunboe Presbyterian Church on Friday at 11.30am followed by interment in the adjoining burying ground. Family flowers only please. Wesley McMillan, Garvagh

Wesley, son of the late Roy and Hester, much loved father of Helen, father-in-law of Gareth, husband of Evelyn, devoted grandfather of Lewis and James, brother of Trevor and David. Funeral Service in St. Paul’s Parish Church, Garvagh, on Thursday at 1.00pm, followed by interment in adjoining Churchyard. Elizabeth (Betty) Reeves (née Quinn), 16 Bell’s Hill, Limavady
The death has taken place of Elizabeth (Betty) Reeves (née Quinn), 7th May 2023, beloved wife of the late Bill Reeves, 16 Bell’s Hill, Limavady, loving mother of Janet, Pat, Peter, Lisa, Siobhan and Christine and a dear mother-in-law of Gerry, Smudge, Clare, Dave, Sunny and Terry. A devoted grandmother and great grandmother and a dear sister of Patrick and Brigid and the late Mary, Charlie, Ellen, Robbie, Martha and Rita. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.00am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Limavady. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam.
