Brian James (Chic) Dunne, 38 Killymallaght Road, Cullion
The death has taken place of the late Brian James (Chic) Dunne, November 11 2024, peacefully at his home, 38 Killymallaght Road, Cullion, Derry (surrounded by his loving family in his 59th year) much loved son of the late Sarah and Bobby, loving brother of Trevor, Dee, Anne and the late Alan, Maurice and Norman, a dear-brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Funeral leaving his late home on Thursday, November 14 at 11.45am followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Church of Ireland Centre, Newbuildings at 12.30pm, burial afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Marie Curie, c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. “What a friend we have in Jesus”
Ellen Gribbin (née Dolan), 126 Creagh Road, Castledawson
The death has occurred of the late Ellen Gribbin (née Dolan), November 12 2024, beloved wife of Eamon and loving mother of Christopher, Ann-Marie (McCann) and Donal, daughter of the late Mary and Edward and dear sister of Rose, Billy, Tom, Ann, Martin, Patricia, Michael, Bridget, Christopher, Mary and the late Kit, Ned and PJ. Funeral from her home, 126 Creagh Road, Castledawson on Friday, November 15 at 1.15pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in Church of St. Trea Newbridge, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, daughters in law Maylene, Coleen, son in law Matt, grandchildren Casey, Joshua, May-Ellen, Dáire, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. House Strictly Private. Ellen’s remains are reposing in McCusker Bros Funeral Home, 10a Garden Street, Magherafelt from 7.00pm to 9.00pm on Wednesday, November 13.
