Derry man granted bail on stalking and sexual offence charges

A 31-year-old man has been granted conditional bail following an appearance at Derry Magistrates' Court
A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with a number of domestic and sexual offences.
Emmett Lyttle (31) of Carnhill on Derry was charged with threatening to disclose a private sexual image on a date between December 29 2024 and December 7 2025.
He was also charged with, between December 26 2024 and January 26 2025, engaging in abusive behaviour and, between November 16 2024 and March 18 2026, stalking, with all of the charges involving the same alleged injured party.
Lyttle was granted bail on conditions including that he have no contact with any child under the age of eighteen.
He will appear again on December 2.
