A man has appeared at Derry Magistrates Court charged with exposing himself to four women, the youngest of which was 16.
Sean Stewart (54) of Elmwood Terrace in Derry was charged with the offences that took place on July 20, 2020.
The court heard that the offence occurred when the defendant went to his former partner's home and exposed himself.
Defence Barrister Sinead Rogan told the court that Stewart had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse and had been heavily under the influence of drugs at the time of the offence.
She added that he has since ceased use of all drugs and significantly reduced his alcohol intake and was seeking help for his issues.
She also said that Stewart had a limited record with no similar offences, telling the court that he was assessed as being of low likelihood of reoffending.
He was sentenced to two months in custody.
