A man has been remanded in custody at Derry Magistrates' Court after it was accepted that he had not been residing at his bail address.
Che O'Connor (25) of The Old Fort in Derry appeared charged with making off without paying for a taxi on August 11 last year.
A police officer connected the accused to the charge.
The court was told there was also a breach of the residency condition of O'Connor's bail.
Defence counsel Stephen Chapman said that it was accepted he had not been residing where he was supposed to.
He added there would be no application for bail at this stage.
Bail was revoked and the defendant was remanded in custody to appear again on January 23.
