Derry policing group issue 'Don't Be My Guest' DVDs in fight against bogus callers

The Derry and Strabane Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) have been reminding the public of the dangers of bogus callers through the circulation of a new DVD titled “Don’t Be My Guest.”

During the campaign Councillor Gus Hastings, chair of the Derry and Strabane PCSP, presented copies of the DVD to members of the Lettershandoney Luncheon Group.

The DVD offers invaluable advice on how best to deal with suspicious callers to avoid becoming a victim of a burglary or theft.

Photo shows Hastings presenting personal attack alarms and fridge magnets with the contact details for the Community Safety Wardens to members of the Lettershandoney Luncheon Group. Included are Sandra Holden, PCSP coordinator, Sean Collins, Community Restorative Justice and Sean Carlin, Lettershandoney Community Centre manager.
