Derry Software Developer Builds Platform to beat MOT queues

Hey DerryNow,

Apologies for the clickbait title but I thought it might grab your attention! My name is Stuart Cargill, I'm a software developer from Derry. We all know how big the backlog is for MOT dates, this has been ongoing for years now but the pandemic made the problem even worse.

I noticed this issue and wondered if I could put my technical skills to good use in creating a small business. The result is that I've built a platform in my spare time called Mot Hub which automatically finds and books MOT cancellations for people. My service automatically finds a cancellation that suits you and when successful you get an email & text with your new MOT booking details.

I've had over 1000 customers and have been given lots of lovely feedback from them:

"Hi this is a real miracle . At the age of 78 while I love driving I didn’t want to travel that far with a deadline "

"Thank you very much, booking confirmed just now, brilliant service and thanks again!"

URL is: https://mot-hub.co.uk

If this is something you'd be interested in doing a story on, let me know and I can provide more details and images.

Thanks a lot!

Stuart
