Draperstown Popcorn company secures deal with ASDA

A Draperstown-based company has proved it is ‘pop notch’ after securing a deal with giant retailer, ASDA.

The deal will see six ASDA stores selling three varieties from snack food company, Só Popcorn.

The three varieties of the ‘Pop Notch’ popcorn range which have already hit ASDA’s shelves include ‘Sweet and Salty, ‘Salted Caramel’ and 'Fancy Marshmallow' – flavours which have proven extremely popular.

Director of Só Popcorn, Declan McBride said he was very ‘excited’ about their venture with the major supermarket chain and hope that the deal will ‘open up’ more opportunities for the business.
